These are the first pictures from inside the 'bomb factory' flat where Salman Abedi prepared for the Manchester massacre. The images show the rooms inside the property Abedi is alleged to have rented before he blew himself up at the city's Arena - killing 22 people.
Abedi is reported to have been in the flat - which is less than two miles from the concert hall - at 7pm on the night of the attack. The Daily Telegraph reports chemicals were mixed within the property's walls.
Sky News states the apartment is privately owned by a local couple and rented out for £75 a night and neighbours revealed they noticed the "strong smell of explosives" coming from under the apartment's door in the days leading up to the attack.
A security source said the bomb was made with hydrogen peroxide and could have been constructed "on a kitchen table".
It is not clear whether Abedi was staying permanently at the address or if he was visiting it before the bombing.
Armed police and officers clad in camouflage raided a block of flats close to Manchester Piccadilly Station in connection with the arena attack.
The railway line behind the block was briefly closed as the raid began but has since reopened, Greater Manchester Police said.
The third-floor flat at the centre of the investigation was believed to have been rented out on Airbnb, residents said.
