“My husband moved out of our house more than five years ago and I don’t know his whereabouts. Before he left he accused me of being a witch and the architect behind all his misfortunes,” she claimed.
The petitioner told the court that the only child the union produced died at birth.
“His parents pretended that they don’t know his whereabouts. They said he has travelled to Europe but I knew they were lying because a friend of mine said she saw my husband in Abuja, but he pretended not to know her.
“ I want to end this union so that I can move on with my life,” she said.
The respondenrt failed to appear in court.
The case was thus adjourned till July 21 for the other party to show up.
