The wife of Peter Agi, former Bursar of the University of Calabar escaped assassination attempt. According to a report by Ifere Paul, Mrs Peter was driving home in State Housing Estate when a strange car sped from the opposite direction and immediately stopped by a street that would have led her home.
Sensing that she will be blocked if she goes further, she stopped her car from a distance and waited.
When the strange car refused to move away, she parked her car, and brought out her phone to call her husband. Second later, fearing that she may have called the police, the strange car sped toward her with guns drawn. Her car was spread with bullets.
The matter has been reported to State Housing police station for investigation. The car is presently parked there.
